In this exercise of graphic design are have to perform the following task.

• we need to create to patterns of designs by using the basics shapes
• we need only two different designs.
• we need to prepare them on paper and if it is not possible than we need to create them on MS Word it is up to us.

Please read the following instructions before attempting the exercise.

• prepare your exercise solution in MS Word.
• submit your exercise in docx format only.
• submit before the due date and through lms only.

Solution:

1st of all you need to decide how do you want to solve your assignment. you have mainly three options, 1st prepare it on a paper page and then take a picture of it and paste it in MS word. 2nd option is MS Word and the last option is to prepare it on Microsoft paint.

let us now see how to prepare it on MS Word because its the easiest method.

1. Click and launch the MS word, write down the title and after that you need to draw 2 boxes of same sizes.
2. click on the "insert" button and select 2 boxes now adjust the size according to the requirement of the exercise.
3. Now divide each box into 2 parts from the middle and change it into 2 rectangles.
4. fill black color in upper part and insert a circle in it by click on the circle button present in "insert" options.
5. color that circle with red and create a copy of it, place that copy in lower rectangle and change its color to black and rectangle's color to red. Your 1st shape is ready and it is a "contrast" shape.
6. In your second box which is of the similar size to the one we used for our 1st shape, draw a circle in it and press the control+C digits to copy it. than paste it and generate similar copies. one circle red and the other black. place them in line and duplicate them downward to fill the shape.
7. A new shape is ready and it is repetition shape.
