tasks:
- 1st you need to download images from the given link in your exercise file.
- link is given and a link is there in the exercise file. So just download 1 background image and 2 images with the background we are going to remove.
- So tasks are to remove one image's background and then change it with the new one.
- you need to provide the screenshot of the image after removing its background and then take another screenshot of the layer panel.
exercise images:
there are 4 different images attached to your exercise you can download them with a single click on any of them.
Note: you need to remove two images' backgrounds only and not more than two.
Software Required: you need adobe photoshop to solve this exercise and MS Word software for saving and submitting the exercise.
Solution method step by step:
download those images and than launch your abode photoshop
- after launching your photoshop select the required size of your artboard as mentioned in your exercise file. If you find any difficulty in selecting canvas size just watch my video tutorial on youtube.com.
- now import the 1st image and start to select this image with the selection tool available in your toolbar.
- it is better to select a quick selection tool for that purpose and select the whole outer part of the image.
- you can zoom in and zoom out as well by clicking the control & + key at once.
- zoom in will help us to select the image more refinery.
Now the image is selected and you need to separate this from its background. click on the selected layer and then press "control+J" your image will be without background and in the layer panel, there will be a new copy of the image, The background is now removed.
Now
- Import the background image you downloaded and place it in the background of the 1st image who now has no background.
- You can follow my video tutorial on YouTube and watch step by step how I solved this exercise
Now your 1st image is done, Take a screenshot of the image and take another screenshot of the layer panel. Put both images in your solution file and come back to photoshop again.

as we successfully removed the 1st image's background now it's time to remove the background of the second image.
- import the 2nd image and select the quick selection tool again this time.
- you can follow those steps you performed earlier.
- after selecting the image from outside press " control+J" again and click on the new layer just created.
